How It Works: Moving & Storage
We've broken the process down into three easy steps:
STEP 1: Get a Quote
Okay, this part's easy: just fill out our Free Quote formto get started with your move!
We haven't found anyone able to match our prices—even if you don't use our service, ask your movers to match us!
STEP 2: Schedule a Pickup Appointment
Now, this part's pretty easy too: we'll work with you to find a time for us to come pick up your stuff.
After you know when you're returning to campus and where you'll be living: give us the address on the "Dropoff My Stuff" page where we can drop off your stuff. After unsealing the containers and having you confirm the contents, we'll have you sign to confirm that you received your containers and you can get back in the swing of things with a little less stress.
FAQ's, Policies, and Forms
Right now, we're only serving Evanston.
Do you only do combined moving and storage or can I use you to just move some things across town?
You can put us on whatever job you'd like! We've moved students in-and-out of dorms, sofas from one friend's apartment to another, even Craigslist purchases too bulky to pick up in person.
Just give us some details on our Quote Form and we'll get back to you with the lowest available price.

How big are your storage containers? How much can they hold?
Each container is 27 gallons, or 5.28ft3, and each can easily hold 20 pairs of shoes, 50-70 shirts or 24 sweaters, with a recommended capacity of 60 pounds. For dense loads (over 75 pounds), there may be additional fees.
Each container is 31"(L) x 21"(W) x 14"(D).
What about things that cannot fit in my containers?
We understand your items don’t always exactly fit into a few containers. Let us know about any specialty items (bikes, furniture, etc.) on our Quote Form with an attached photo and we'll send you a personalized quote.
Can I coordinate with friends to save money, or split containers with my roommates?
Absolutely! We recommend this, but remember that we only deliver to one address at the end of the summer. So, try to coordinate with people who you'll be living with next year if you go this route.
Why do you take payments in person? Wouldn't it be easier to do it through the website?
We want people to be comfortable working with us, that means meeting you in person and only charging you when we deliver on our end. It would be incredibly easy to do it over the web, but that also takes away other options of paying for storing with us—cash and cards are both accepted by our friendly staff.
No we do not! We charge you based strictly on volume. If you decide you'd like to continue storing your stuff with us past the start of the school year, we may charge an additional delivery fee.

Where is my stuff stored?
We have a network of storage centers near Chicago and in the Chicagoland area. These are constantly monitored by cloud-connected cameras and kept in a climate-controlled environment.
We're undergrads and we work for free. Just kidding.
This is our business model:
For one, we've standardized everything from our storage containers to our pickup and dropoff windows. We use dynamic resource allocation models similar to Free Flow, allowing us to maximize the use of our storage space, moving trucks, staff, and time based on each new order that comes in. And we use a flat-pricing model that includes sales tax, fees, and smoothly rounded numbers to ensure that our costs are covered.
